Geared & Go gets ‘thumbs up’

Seventeen year old Stephanie Thompson from Kirkham near Preston gave the seal of approval to the new Geared & Go Interactive Learning Programme for Young Riders, after attending a pilot seminar at the Dalmeny Hotel in Lytham St Annes on Saturday 18th April.

Stephanie said;-

“I bought a Honda CG125 in December last year and I love riding on two wheels. I have only taken my CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) so far and I wanted to know more about how to pass my test. The Geared & Go training was brilliant; they provided me with loads of information, answered all of my questions and encouraged me to become more competent. The DVD’s were helpful and they gave me a free pair of kevlar-lined jeans; they’re really comfortable. I know that if I can be a better bike rider, I should be safer on the roads. I would recommend Geared & Go to all young bike and scooter riders.”

RideSafe BackSafe will be organising more Geared & Go events across Greater Manchester and Lancashire later this year. Click here to register your interest.
