John McGuinness is a motorcycle racing legend and known the world over for his achievements, none more so than at the Isle of Man TT races in recent years. John has been an ambassador for RideSafe BackSafe since we started in 2006.

The World Endurance Championship, the Isle of Man TT, the Ulster Grand Prix and the Macau GP.

If you had more time to yourself, what hobby would you enjoy more of?
Renovating old bikes and learning to ride my speedway bike faster.
What would be your dream bike?
Either Joey Dunlop’s 1983 factory Honda RVF850, or my first TT winning Honda TSR250.

Worst pet hate?
People who leave dog sh*t on pavements, anyone who invades my personal space and ignorant people.
I don’t like horror movies!
What is the best bit of advice you could give to bikers on the road?
Stay alert and take notice of the advice from experts; you can’t put an old head on young shoulders.
