How many riders simply pass their test and presume that this will be adequate to keep them safe on the roads? Many of us could improve their riding technique and even experienced riders would benefit from a refresher course to polish up the good habits.
Encouraging all bikers to improve their riding is at the very heart of what RideSafe BackSafe is all about, so we have compiled a new Training Directory of options for you to choose from.
We cannot list every one; there are hundreds of companies and organisations who could help you – YOU will need to take a little time to satisfy yourself that they are right for you. Choose a trainer that is qualified to make an assessment, deliver the appropriate training and can offer an external independent examination if that’s what you’re looking for.
Talk to the instructors and be honest about your own experiences. This will help you decide on the best sort of scheme to suit you.
“Training” can mean assessment, advice, guidance, observation, qualifications or the training itself so make sure you know what you’re signing up for.
